Preparation for the Written Final
Chapter Tests
The NSP has review questions in chapter tests. Use these tests to reinforce the information and direct you study efforts. There is an answer sheet at the end along with some comments added by a long-time instructor. You will find the best results are obtained if you answer the questions prior to looking at the answer sheet.

Flashcards
A student created over 1200 flash cards out of chapter tests that are free for you to explore

Link to Mt Rexmoore Trail Map
Scenarios will be played out in a variety of ski hill locations. In real life you will know exactly where you are. When we are in a training room in summer it is a distraction to remember where you are. This class will be the Ski Patrol for the mighty Mt Rexmoore. Just like at a real resort, the trails will not move around. There will be 8.5 X 11 trail signs to help you get oriented. In addition, there will be locations for the Lodge (any interior scenario) and the lodge sun deck. I included a tree run so we can have scenarios where there might be an obstruction issue with accessing, treating, and loading the patient into the toboggan.

Anatomy and Physiology Fill-In Sheets
Use this link to the A&P fill-in sheets to help you learn the material. I suggest that you write out the answers on a sheet of paper and check your work on the A&P answer sheets. If you print out the A&P sheets, note the number hand written in the lower right corner--it corresponds to the file name of the answer sheet.

Another Anatomy Resource
This is a link to an interactive 3-D anatomy model . Play around with this to see organs, bones, muscles, etc.

Splinting and Bandaging Guides
This bandaging guide leads you through step-by-step directions for bandaging different body parts.

This guide to splinting has step-by-step photos to help you learn how to splint different body parts. Remember that there can be other ways to correctly immobilize an injury and that you may have to extrapolate in some special circumstances.
